Questflow Raises $6.5M to Build a Blockchain-Enabled AI Agent Workforce
Questflow, a platform designed to orchestrate AI agents for the growing multi-agent economy, has secured $6.5 million in seed funding. The round was led by CyberFund with participation from Delphi Labs, Systemic Ventures, Eden Block, White Star Capital, Web3.com, Animoca Brands, HashKey Capital, Wagmi Ventures, ElizaOS, the Tezos Foundation, and CatcherVC. The company also received grants from Aptos, Coinbase Developer Platform, and Virtuals Protocol.
The investment will accelerate Questflow’s vision of creating an always-on, on-chain AI workforce to automate workflows for individuals and businesses, while ensuring human oversight remains for critical decisions.
Multi-Agent Orchestration Protocol for Seamless AI Collaboration
At the heart of Questflow is the Multi-Agent Orchestration Protocol (MAOP), which enables AI agents to communicate, coordinate, and transact on-chain in real time. This protocol bridges the gap between isolated AI systems, allowing them to work together efficiently with human supervision for essential actions.
“Our mission is to build an AI agent economy that supports any workflow,” said Bob Xu, co-founder and CEO of Questflow. “From solo entrepreneurs to enterprise teams, everyone should have access to a reliable and transparent AI workforce that operates 24/7.”
Connecting AI Agents Through Task and Token Orchestration
Most AI agents today remain siloed and disconnected from blockchain networks. Questflow addresses this through two orchestration models.
Task orchestration allows AI swarms to manage complex workflows across Web2 tools like Google Workspace, Notion, and Airtable, as well as Web3 dApps and protocols.
Token orchestration equips each AI agent with its own on-chain wallet, enabling agent-to-agent micropayments and real-time transactions. This approach turns AI agents into active participants in a decentralized economy, capable of earning and exchanging value autonomously.
Early Traction and Expanding Ecosystem
Questflow has already gained recognition from a16z, Cohere, and MongoDB. It was selected for Google for Startups and named Product of the Day on Product Hunt.
The company continues to grow its partner ecosystem, collaborating with Google, Coinbase Developer Platform, Circle, Aptos, Near, CoinGecko, and Jambo Phone, connecting Web2 and Web3 environments to broaden adoption.
The AI Workforce Flywheel
Questflow is building an on-chain flywheel to scale the AI agent economy through four stages:
- Create – Developers and creators can build and monetize AI swarms using a no-code editor and SDK, each linked to an on-chain wallet.
- Use – End users can deploy these swarms to automate workflows while retaining oversight for critical actions.
- Pay – Transparent, real-time micropayments ensure fair compensation for AI agents.
- Tokenize – Communities can launch and govern AI swarms through tokenization, encouraging shared ownership and participation.
“Giving AI agents wallets is only the first step,” Xu explained. “The real innovation comes from enabling agents to collaborate, transact, and earn autonomously, creating a self-sustaining AI workforce economy.”
Scaling the Future of AI Collaboration
With new funding, Questflow plans to expand orchestration capabilities, introduce ecosystem incentives, and open the MAOP protocol to developers and partners for a variety of real-world use cases.
As AI and blockchain continue to converge, Questflow is positioned to unify disconnected AI systems and allow anyone to deploy on-chain AI workforces that are as reliable as software yet as adaptive as human teams.
By enabling permissionless creation, coordination, and monetization of AI agents, Questflow is laying the foundation for a decentralized AI Agent Economy where intelligent agents can collaborate, transact, and generate value autonomously.
